Hessonite Gemstone, whose Sanskrit name is “Gomedh” or “Gomed-Medak,” and in Hindi its name is “Gomed.”
A good quality of gomed, or hessonite, the gemstone of Rahu, is one that reflects the color of the urine of a cow, usually in honey brown, reddish-brown, or golden cinnamon color, and it has a slightly oily or glowing effect on its surface, which are the hallmarks.
